- I am a freelance knitwear and knitted fashion accessories designer , a recent graduate and specialises in creating knitted swatches and accessories using unorthodox methods and yarns .I often burn , decay ,weave and contort knitted fabrics to abolish the granny ideology and old fashioned mindset of knitting ! I have created eclectic collections of knitwear based upon alternating genres and themes and titles,such as , victoriana ,clown armour,japenese youth inspired brights,and urban patterning - all of which will feature on this page in the coming week - But be paitent and please bear with me though as this is new to me at first but I have lots of amazing knitwear /textile designs awaiting downloading !!! For my collection entitled `Victoriana ' I sought origional victorian crochet from doilleys and childrens clothing ,cut it up and wove it through my knitted designs .I wanted to achieve a sympathetic blending of both old and new fabrics .This work is possibly the most ladylike ive ever done !
